# GET /api/v1/inboxes/:id/threads/:threadId/assignment

## Summary

Read the assignment for one thread. Returns {assignment:null} when the thread exists and nobody is assigned. assignment is {object:"thread_assignment", inbox_id, thread_id, assignee, note, claimed_until, claim_active, assigned_at, updated_at}. claim_active is true while claimed_until is in the future. Unknown thread returns 404 thread_not_found. Another account's inbox returns 404 inbox_not_found. Same permission as GET thread (message_read).
